I grew up on a farm in Lutschental (7km from Grindelwald). My first attempt on skis was when I was 3 years old. As my father worked during the winter throughout my whole childhood as a slope rescue worker at the rescue centre, I spent every free minute with my brother on the slopes. Another hobby of mine was the traditional Swiss wrestling (not unlike the Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling practiced in the English Lake District). I was very successful as a young wrestler but unfortunately I did not made it to the very top.

After my apprenticeship as a carpenter, I decided at the age of 21 to start training as ski instructor.

In the summer I work as tandem paragliding pilot.

With the takeover of the Kleine Swiss ski school Kleine Scheidegg together with Marcel "Hombi" Homberger and Stephan Rubin in 2013, I will put my energy and enthusiasm for snow sports into this new challenge!

Whether in the snow or in the air, my goal is to offer our guests an unforgettable stay in the beautiful Jungfrau Region
